A family practice, in the truest sense

Why parents keep coming back
We just got home from our first visit and my kids LOVED it, asking when they could go back before we even got out the door. The staff is warm and welcoming and the office has a fun beach theme. I think we are lifers!
My kids have been Dr. Walker's patients since we moved to Sammamish six years ago. They look forward to their appointments and have no anxiety, thanks to wonderful staff who make it a pleasant experience.
Super clean, amazing staff, and a wonderful environment. My son actually looks forward to going to the dentist, which is a huge win for any parent. He especially loves watching TV on the ceiling while they work.
When should my child first see a dentist?
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a first visit when the first tooth appears, or no later than the first birthday. An early visit helps establish healthy habits and a dental home in case of an emergency.
How is a pediatric dentist different?
Pediatric dentists complete additional specialized training after dental school focused on the growth and development of infants, children, and teens. Our staff, office design, and approach are all centered on making kids comfortable.
How often should my child come in?
Checkups twice a year, every six months, help prevent problems and keep teeth healthy. Depending on your child's needs, we may recommend visits more often.
Do you see children with special needs?
Yes. Part of Dr. Walker's training was caring for children with special needs, and we tailor each visit to your child.
Does my child need sealants?
Sealants cover the pits and grooves that are hard to brush, especially on back molars. We recommend them as a safe, effective way to help prevent cavities.
